5th Avenue!

We had a breakfast of pastries in the room today before heading off to NBC studios to see if we could get into their tour today. There was a vacancy for 11.45 so we walked around Fifth Ave visiting Tiffany's, FAO Schwartz toy shop and the surrounds before returning for the tour. You get to go around and see studios whilst they are working all around you. Steve was the 'volunteer' to go and be the weatherman in a pretend news broadcast! It was a lot of fun. We then walked down Fifth a bit more till we found a deli for a sandwich lunch. We then kept walking all the way down to the Empire State building. We had a dream ride in - straight in, straight to the tickets and then straight up in the lifts!! The view truly is amazing and the new camera got a real workout. After exiting we went to Macy's where I found a makeup that I use which was discontinued in Australia 3 years ago. It costs $39 at home and I paid $16 for it today. We walked all the way back to the hotel and Steve lined up to get half price tickets to a show for tonight. We are going to see a play, Gore Vidal's "The Best Man". The cast is amazing with James Earl Jones, John Larroquette,Cybill Shepherd, John Stamos, Kristin Davis (from sex in the city) and Angela Lansbury! Half price is $75 per ticket

And by the way, you'll see from the photos below that I got to meet the Abercrombie & Fitch model. Steve says that is my birthday present!
