Shopping and Madam Tussauds

Today we went shopping ! After a Diner breakfast we caught the coach out to the Woodbury Common Premium Outlets which is an hours drive north to upstate New York. The place has over 220 shops with all of the big names and some amazing prices. You could get Levi jeans for $40, a Sony Cybershot 16 MP touchscreen camera for $99 incl case, Reebok runners $60, US Polo shirts for $20 etc etc. our days worth is below. After returning to NY we went to a Diner for tea then off to Madam Trussauds. There were lots of celebrities and the details of their features is very good. I'll be dreaming of how close I was to Elle, Brittany, Marliyn and Kim.

We have spotted a few celebrities in Times Square seeing Snoop Dog last night and Matthew Broderick today with both happy to stop for photos and autographs.

Food

We have been trying eat like the local starting with either a Diner breakfast ($15 for eggs, bacon, home fries, toast, endless coffee and tip) or pastry and coffee $5. Lunch has been a Deli roll which are huge $7. For dinner we have been going to mid level restaurants and appetizer, main tip and drinks are about $40 each. The street food is everywhere and a hot dog with onions and sauce is small and about $3.50 but you get what you pay for !
